Classrooms for Haiti

On January 12th of 2010, a massive earthquake left the country of Haiti in utter devastation and brokeness. After the earthquake there was a huge outpouring of generosity and the donations were incredible.

Since that time Haiti has slipped out of the news, and January 12th of 2011 came and passed without much attention.

Last summer I was introduced to Pastor Kelly Fleury who leads a mission with a medical clinic, orphanage, bakery, school and a church- all were

almost completely leveled by the earthquake. We are partnering with Pastor Kelly to help rebuild this incredible outreach to the people of Haiti.

The need that has risen greatly in following months is for Classrooms for the children.

The children were meeting in tents, which became to hot in the sun, and are now meeting under a tree. Pastor Kelly and the others are desperate to provide shelter to reach, train, and serve these children.

I am on a mission to help build classrooms for the children this organization has a privilege of serving.

It costs approximately $2050 Dollars to build a classroom for these children. My hope and prayer is to help raise the money to build several of these classrooms and eventually to take a team to Haiti to help build and serve.
